Busing Ourselves to the 7th

At Least, Trying To...
So, in the middle of a strong rainstorm, our bus stopped half-way to our destination and the driver announced "this is the end of the ride." Nothing is easy here. No explanation, no idea why, we simply had to step out into the cover of a bus shelter and wait for the rain to subside.

Once it did, we made our way towards our destination - breakfast. This was no ordinary storm, it left large puddles everywhere. As we walked we noted a large crane taking up so much of the street that traffic could not pass. This was the answer - the bus wouldn't have been able to pass. Construction = congestion.

We were not to be stopped - not with a nice breakfast waiting for us. This isn't even all of it - our gratin potatoes hadn't been delivered yet.

Using my editorial powers, I tell you that this breakfast fueled up a certain someone with silly energy. Truth told, this happened before the breakfast, but I like my version better.
