All Types of Ways

To Get Around and Get Things Around
The modes of transport of both people and things are decidedly skewed towards the two wheel variety in Vietnam. You've got the food sellers who user their bikes to move their goods.

For the more daring, there are motorcycle taxis. Just don the sweaty helmet and jump on the back. These ladies were willing. Pingle was not - specifically because of the sweaty helmet.

Don't underestimate the two foot variety of transport. We saw many ladies coming to market this way. She has pomelos for sale. Most impressive was the lady who carried her entire lunch cafeteria this way, food and portable stove in one basket, foldable table and chairs in the other.

In Halong Bay we saw a few floating vendors. Shout out what you want, put your money in the basket and the food is poled up to you. Kinda helps if you speak Vietnamese.

Rickshaws are another way to get around. Seemed touristy to me at first sight but over time I noticed many locals moving around this way too.
