Paris - Day 4

Smokers of the World Unite!
I used to have three big complaints about Paris:
1. There are French people living there.
2. The metro stops running at 1am.
3. Everyone smokes, everywhere.

Well, I have warmed up to the French and surprise, surprise: new smoking laws went into effect banning smoking indoors. This means no more smoke-filled restaurants and bars. It also means that Parisian life has been forced outdoors. The restaurants have many more outdoor seating areas and outside of most office buildings you will see folks puffing away....

By the way, the subway stops running at 1am still. Oh well, two out of three ain't bad.
Gotta Love the Paris Weather

Other than the sun we had the first two days, we are now settled into a cool, foggy, dreary pattern. Highs in the mid-50's, lows in the low-40's, foggy, drizzily and dank. This basically sucks except for the cool look it imparts to some photos.
