File this under "strange things that I've never seen before." Another Tokyo weirdness. This is a store that is for pen lovers. Ok, not exactly. This is a store for ink lovers. We stumbled into it while walking around.
This is where you come when you want to custom mix your pen ink to get the exact color you're looking for.
You stand at the counter and are given about ten base colors, each in a small bottle. You then mix the colors, some more drops than others, to get the exact color you want. You keep track of your concoction using a form. When you're happy with the color, you hand over the form to the woman behind the counter who mixes a bottle of ink using your specifications.
So strange. Jean bought a pre-mixed set since we didn't have a reservation to do it ourselves.
