Singapore - Day 11

You Know It's Crowded When....
This is an article from the paper today announcing exhumation of a graveyard to make way for redevelopment of the land. The government digs up your relatives, burns em and puts em in an urn. Next thing you know, 22 high-rises are going up on the land. Don't talk to me about land scarcity unless you are taking over graveyards. Strange thing is - this place doesn't feel crowded to me at all.

Be Thankful for The Here and Now

No matter how bad you think you got it, it can always get worse. One of Puffin's friends just found out she has cancer. The crew rallied for a round of prayers at the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho temple, downtown. I stayed outside and took photos.

The Most Popular Dude in Singapore

No, not a sports figure or a pop singer. This dude is old school.

I spent only 3 minutes near him and folks couldn't get enough of him. Rubbing his belly.

Rubbing his face.

Inserting money in his belly slot and another belly rub....
