The true rulers of the town - the dogs. They're everywhere, owned by nobody, fed and cared for by everyone.
Our 7 hour bus ride to Guayaquil was extra fun. We got a bit of food poisoning the night before - I'd never vomited and had diarrhea simultaneously. Thankfully, the buses here have movies - something to distract us from our misery. We watched a Thai/Hong Kong karate movie followed by a Bollywood shot in Las Vegas love movie. We didn't eat anything the whole day - I drank Sprite, she water.
