We drove down 17 for about 4 hours and settled at our B&B in Sugar Loaf. Not sure they're a "community of craftsmen" but there were a block or two of arts and crafts stores around the corner from where we stayed.
They were a friendly lot, one who even claimed we would have the best Mexican food of our lives there. "I've been everywhere and this is IT. You cannot go wrong here, I promise you." We were standing outside the Mexican restaurant reading the menu and trying to calculate the possibility that this would be the best Mexican we've ever had. Suffice it to say, the best meal was the breakfast prepared by our host in her outdoor garden the next morning. We stayed in the upper level of the house seen in this shot.
It was like sleeping in a forest. I had a nice sleep, but then again, that is not anything that doesn't happen each and every night.
