The Meiji Shrine was built in the middle of Yoyogi park to commemorate Emperor Meiji and his wife.
We stayed near Yoyogi and took a short cut through the park on the way to breakfast. We prayed as instructed - throw coins into a large wooden box, bow once, clap three times then bow again.
