Tokyo - Narita

Three Hour Layover
We took off Friday morning, looping over Alaska on our way to Tokyo, the sun on our shoulder each of the fourteen hours.  I fought sleep with movie after movie.  Groggy, we stumbled out into bright Saturday afternoon sunshine, just a short walk to a well known sushi restaurant in terminal one.

We sat in the window, staring out past the parked planes into a deep blue sky, waiting for the food to arrive.

Our waitress asked if we were ok with wasabi.  Little did I know they'd layer it on so thickly between the rice and fish.

Ok, time for the next leg - 7 more hours to go to Singapore.  We arrive at 1am Sunday.
