The sign across the street from our morning café was either concerned about turtles or was suggesting the people of West Stockbridge cross the street more slowly than normal humans.
The cafe is owned by a National Geographic photographer named John Stanmeyer and doubles as a gallery of his work.
As we sipped our coffee, we strolled around and looked at his photos, which were amazing. He did a series of photos of China showing the effect of rapid industrialization which was very interesting.
He wasn't on site, he was on a shoot in Kazakhstan.
