Someone Brought the Good Weather from Chi-Town
Dodo arrived on Friday from a few days in Chicago and brought the blue skies and summer weather with her. It had been a soggy, dark affair the whole month and presto-chango, summer.
We got up early and donned sweaters to coffee at a nearby cafe. It was around 60 degrees to start the day.
By the time we arrived at another place in the 18th for breakfast, the sun was smiling down at us. We ate scones and planned our attack for the day.
I tried to get Dodo to play along and pose like the lady in the background but she didn't put a lot of effort into it.
