My First All-French Meeting
Mark it down in your calendars, this is my first ever meeting all in French. I am now in our offices in the north of the city and since I'm the only non-French speaker they requested to do the meeting in French. "Bien sur!" Go ahead! I'm just staring out the window...... Yes, ok, I understand some. When they ask me something I answer in English.

To what transcendentally important topics are all of these meetings addressing?
@Dad - really, they're just an excuse to drink coffee and sit together in a big room....
Ah, that sounds nice if the coffee is decent and you can doze off a bit
@Dad - sadly, the coffee was atrocious. It was really good in London, surprisingly. There are coffee bars all over London these days, I didn't see one tea spot at all.
I hope you were able to use your French foodwords vocabulary. . .
@Sal - nope, not at all. I did, however, summarize what they were saying in English and did ok. We were talking about all their different systems that will be replaced by the new system and every time they finished talking about one of them I would summarize out loud in English. So, I could understand most of what they were saying.
