A Walk Along the Beach
Nice seems like a late-waking place but there were still plenty out walking along the beach.  This old man was painting a watercolor with one hand.

The umbrellas were already set up on the beach, waiting for the crowd.

Some of the benches were filling up.  I had on a sweater and a jacket, I reckon it was mid-fifties so I was surprised to see some folks in short sleeves.  Must be Russian.

I tried to capture the sunrise reflecting on the ocean but I still haven't mastered the camera enough to pull it off.
