I took a long, long walk to the left bank and ended up in St. Sulpice, which is a plaza with a cool fountain loaded with lions. I always forget that Sundays are pretty dead here in Paris - many neighborhoods are completely quiet. Mine is one of the few where there is a flurry of activity, so it seems that a lot of Parisians visit on Sundays. Lately, I've been discovering a lot of new food places.
