We did manage to get outside of the historic district - the rest of Quito looks different. Uglier, in fact. It's quite an ugly city, truth be told. A bit too chilly for my liking as well.
I will miss this bakery, called En Dulce. Top notch freshly baked bread and pastries. We ate here twice.
We're on our way to Baños - a small town known for its hot springs. It's at the foot of a 16,000 foot volcano. The bus ride is 3.5 hrs.
