We said goodbye to our host and landlord, Yeimi. She sat reluctantly for a serious photo since I'd been joking with her, calling her boss.
She could barely sit still without smiling - she's a very sweet person. She made us feel very welcome in her house. A former airline stewardess turned hotelier.
We took a photo together, exchanged hugs and said goodbye. We headed for the airport and jumped over to Bogota in just 35 minutes.
We're now waiting for our flight to Quito, Ecuador. I am very impressed by the airports - both the one in Cali and here in Bogota. They're modern, clean and very comfortable. Puts NY airports to shame.
