Kuala Lumpur - Riding the Tram

I always like to try out each city's public transportation.  KL has a subway and monorail.  The monorail passed right by our hotel.  It connects two subway lines together.  The stations are covered to protect from rain and sun.

Similar to Taipei, you purchase a "smart" plastic token which you tap against the turnstile for entry.  You later deposit the token at the destination turnstile.

The monorail is only two cars attached at the center by a plastic bellows.  This particular one was covered in ads.

Funniest of all were the ads for each stop.  Apparently, they sell off the rights to advertise each monorail stop.  I was tempted to get out at the KFC stop.
