Syracuse - Snow-Doh

A New Nickname
For a spell, a nice fluffy batch came down.  Dodo followed me to the porch to take photos.

Nobody was immune from the tech bug.  You can't blame Caleb, he'd never played with an iPad before.

Manhattan - Reflections on the Peak

Caught at the Top
The past few years developers raced to complete buildings prior to the crash.  This narrow residential tower on 23rd Street wasn't so lucky.  I thought they might make it, but the developer went bankrupt just as the building was nearing completion.  The building sits empty and dark, which is nice if you want to photograph reflections of the Met Life building.  I've learned that I probably need a tripod for night photography.  In order to allow in sufficient light, you use a very slow shutter speed and if you make the slightest movement you end up with a blurred photo.  I'd like to try this shot with a tripod to see the difference.

Manhattan - November Golf

Getting Lucky Late in the Year
I don't think I've ever golfed so late in the year in NY.  When I got home last week Che got my hopes up "keep Friday open, it's gonna be close to 60 degrees."  I didn't believe him but he was right.  Perfect reason for a half-day.  We played in New Jersey.
