Brooklyn - US Open

Hooky at its Finest
The CFO scored front row tickets to today's US Open day session.  Never been so close.  That's my foot in the foreground and Novak Djokovich in the background.

We got to park close to the stadium.

Ate lunch in the schwanky restaurant.  The guest chef was Masaharu Morimoto, the Iron Chef.
We watched Venus Williams beat up on some Swiss chick.

The photographers were snapping away.

We saw some celebs - Martina Hingis was sitting right behind us, Boris Becker was to our right.  Former mayor David Dinkins was in his usual seat, dressed like Colonel Sanders.

I had my own celeb....

Djokovic up close is something to see.  Cat-like quick, not an ounce of extra fat, changing directions in a blink.  Straight set victory.
