It Ain't Much, but It's a Start
The color scheme for the living room has always been gun metal grey, canary yellow and cobalt blue.  However, finding things to fit takes a while.  I bought this small picture because it contained two of the three colors and used it to prove to the Dodo that it works.

We picked up this fellow in Taipei.  They love cartoon characters in Asia, especially Japan and Taiwan.  He stands in the middle of the dining table.
Chair for the balcony.

Ceramic donut from Barcelona.

Two inexpensive lamps from Ikea.  Don't adjust your glasses, they're two different sizes.  I like things to be a bit uneven.

Yes, finally got a tv stand.  Though, it really is two end tables side by side.  They're made of "rescue" teak from Indonesia.  That's a big thing here - knock down a building or throw out some old furniture and the teak is always recycled into new pieces.  The metal edges blend well with the walls.

Similar piece serves as the coffee table.  We're getting there, slowly.  I need some more cobalt blue pieces.  Next up - wall mural for the wall behind the dining table.  That is going to be some fun, stay tuned.
