I used to moan that I'd turned into my own mother. This picture of me shows that I have now turned into my Grandmother! Who says biology isn't destiny?

I very much enjoyed sharing Thanksgiving with all of you! I haven't had a great Turkey Holiday like that in over 3 years. =)
It was a terrific time, with good company and lots of food--lots of food. I finally made turkey soup last night, but the rest of the turkey is safely in the freezer for later in the season when I'm too lazy to venture out to the store. Y'all left me too much good junk food, which I must eat, of course, because I don't waste things. Helen, we were glad to see you at length.
All - it was a great thanksgiving! We ate and ate and ate and by the way, I'm still eating....
I am highly disappointed that we had to leave all those great left-overs to stow away in Grams' freezer. I'm sure it's only destined for the trash-in about 6 months. Can't wait to do it again next year!
P.S. No one does dopey like me!
Pullleassse Mach - you know Grandma gobbled it all down. It's gone already. Don't fall for that "put it in the freezer" line...
Yeah.. totally enjoyed the time spent over Thanksgiving!! All the food (pies and cakes included) and the company were great!!
So we are set to celebrate together for next Thanksgiving? Hopefully with snow.. since Sal has gotten more firewood already :)
